Well, we’re in.
To say we’ve got a ton to do is an understatement, but we’re here. We’ve got all the big stuff here, the 120 gallon tank is here (absolutely the most difficult part of this move – a giant thanks to Brent and my dad again for helping with that, I was on pins and needles moving it.), the reef tank is here (the move went surprisingly well – I think all fish, corals, and inverts are fine), both snakes are here, one of our dragons is here, and all our furniture is here – basically everything. We’ve still got some plants in Lakewood, as well as a small fishtank left to move. Compared to the 120, it’ll be a joke to move. We’ve got our living room set up, so we’re about to relax and watch a movie tonight.
Tomorrow we are getting our cable/phone/internet hooked up here, and getting the gas transferred back into the landlords name in Lakewood. We also plan to move pretty much all the plants and the rest of the animals tomorrow. It’s finally supposed to cool off – it was 87 degrees here today. It’s been in the 80’s for this entire move, and you guys know me, I -hate- the heat. Hate it.
We’ll take some pictures of the inside of the house once we have things arranged and post them. I wouldn’t hold your breath for pictures anytime really soon, it’ll be a while before I even find the camera. It’s been a wild ride – I’m not really sure of the date, day of the week, north….anything. I know I’m dead tired, I hurt a lot, ibuprofen doesn’t seem to help, and that’s about it. Time to go make sure the couch is still comfortable.
