05-25-2009 Front beds and trees
We have finally planted our first few trees, and finished mulching the front flower beds. We’ve planted a lavender twist weeping redbud, and a gold rush dawn redwood.
05-17-2009 Playing at Chucks
We took some new pictures of Nico today while we were at Chucks (Elite K-911 http://www.elitek911.com/) – we go there frequently and let Nico play with the other dogs. Chuck has helped us quite a bit with training Nico – we’d definitely recommend him if anyone needed some help with training. It helps Chuck when we go there because we exercise some of his dogs, and it allows us to work on some training with Nico with other dogs as distractions. It’s plain old fun for the dogs, afterward everyone is good and tired. Bando is the Cane Corso, Baily is a Pitt/Mastiff mix.
03-22-2009 Nico agility pictures
It’s warming up a bit here, so we’ve been outside as much as we can lately. I built Nico a few PVC agility jumps, and he got to try them out today. He has only recently started agility training, he’s got some pretty good hops already.
There are also a few older pictures that we’ve yet to post – one of Wicket on my back watching the fishtank while I clean it; and one of Nico playing tug inside with a stream of drool that ended up completely across his snout when he shook the tug.
01-10-2009 Fun in the snow
Here are a few recent pictures of the house and Nico in all the snow we’ve gotten. Nico loves the snow. He’s a little over 9 months old now, and probably a little over 80 pounds.
05-28-2008 Nico & older flower bed pictures
Well, we got Nico home.
Here are a few early pictures.
Another with Nico and Wicket, who has been keeping a close eye on Nico.
And a few pictures of our flowerbeds. We’ve since had the big rocks moved into place, but we have yet to take new pictures.
I got motivated and took a picture of the beds with the rocks in them. The lighting isn’t very good, as the sun is about to set:
03-14-08 Some new pictures
I’ve uploaded a few of the pictures we took a few days after the snow storm while we were out shoveling, which we did a lot of last weekend. Thankfully we have very nice neighbors, two of which helped to clear the entire cul-de-sac with their snowblowers. I thought we made it through the year without needing one – I was wrong.
Here is a picture of the front of our house.
This is just a picture of a really cool patch of snow in our backyard:
And finally, a picture of Wicket in his favorite seat in the house:
03-14-2008 It’s been a while
I can’t believe it has been over 3 months since we’ve updated the site.
Not much new going on with us, we’ve just been busy around the house as we continue to settle in. Looks like the ice season here has come and gone without us getting out to climb even once, I hope that doesn’t happen again next year, or ever for that matter.
We took some pictures of the big snow storm we got here last week, so I hope to sit down at the computer this weekend and post a few of those. Maybe we will take some pictures of the upstairs this weekend and post them as well, but there is still a lot of work to be done in the office and spare bedroom – we don’t use the rooms very often (unless I am on call for work, then I spend too much time in the office) so they have been neglected. Maybe if I threaten to take pictures of those 2 rooms, that will motivate Rachel and I to finally organize them.
12-08-2007 Inside pics
Finally took some decent pictures inside the house. I took some earlier this week, but it was already dark out after we got home from work and they did not turn out so well. These are a bit better, but still not the best lighting.
Here is a picture of the living room from the foyer:
Here is the kitchen from the living room:
This is the living room from the kitchen:

And the foyer looking from above:
That pretty much covers the downstairs, with the exception of the 1/2 bath and laundry room. Not much to see there anyway. We’ll try to get pictures of the rooms upstairs sometime soon.
11-30-2007 Brief update
Well, we’ve still not had the time to take pictures of the finished house, or the inside. I hope to take the time to do that this weekend.
